Work with the words

Transcribe speech on your device, edit the transcript, search across every recording, and use Transcript Stage when you want the words large and focused.

Shape the recording

Trim without touching the original, organize recordings with folders and tags, adjust multitrack levels and panning, then export a mix, stems, audio, Markdown, or plain text.

There when you need it

Quick Capture widgets and lock-screen controls make it easier to catch something before it disappears. Playback queues and full-library search help bring it back.

Private by default

No accounts, ads, analytics, or app-operated cloud storage. Your audio and transcripts stay on your device unless you choose to share, export, or back them up.

Coming soon

First release: iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later.
Later: Android, followed by an optional private way to keep recordings in sync across devices.

Free and complete

I made Grabatu because I wanted it to exist, and now it's my daily driver. If it proves useful, an optional tip helps me keep making things.
